A dimension is the number of degrees of freedom of a movement or a position in a given space. Six dimensions are specified in tool measurement or laser measurement: X, Y, Z and A, B, C. A is rotation around the Z axis, B is rotation around the Y axis, and C is rotation around the X axis. This can be used, for example, to determine the machining point of the robot tool in space.
