Ball joint termination

The ball joint termination is the central component on axis 6 of an industrial robot. It is located at the end of the dresspack and fixes the individual components of the corrugated hose with the integrated strain relief. The ball joint termination is mounted in a cable clamp and serves to accommodate the strain relief and for axial positioning of the corrugated hose. The ball joint fixed in the cable clamp ensures the necessary freedom of movement during robot movements. This rotational freedom of movement prevents tension in the corrugated tube.
